Welcome to Granada Hills Little League, the home of the 1963 Little League World Champions! We are thrilled that you're interested in registering your child to join us at the renowned Granada Hills Little League on the corner of Rinaldi & Woodley. We proudly welcome children of all abilities, as young as 3 (born by September 2020), to be part of our league. We aim to foster strong athletes and coaches who exemplify Courage, Character, and Integrity both on and off the field. Join us and be a part of something special!

Little League believes in the power of youth baseball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. Joined together by one common goal, every local league is part of One Team. One Little League.

Games are set to begin on Sunday, September 8, 2024, with practices starting in mid-August. We hold our weekly practices in the evenings and highly encourage parental participation. We typically schedule our games on Sundays throughout the fall season and offer chances to compete against nearby leagues such as Northridge, Canyon Country, Pacoima, and San Fernando Little Leagues.

Every registered Little League player will receive a Granada Hills Little League logo hat and jersey, professional individual and team pictures, a participation medal or trophy, and more! Our Little League family is encouraged to participate in various events during the season and throughout the year as part of the Granada Hills Little League Family!

Our League offers a limited selection of loaner equipment available for registered players to borrow. Typically, athletes bring their own Little League-approved bat, glove, batting helmet, baseball pants, rubber cleats, athletic cup, socks, and belt. Additionally, optional gear such as a baseball equipment bag, batting gloves, sunglasses, and other items may be provided by the players themselves.

Teams may decide whether to add last names to jerseys and design a team banner for display at games. These involve additional costs that the team agrees upon. Additionally, most teams may establish a snack schedule for each game.

 

Fundraising participation by each family is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. This includes but is not limited to, potential Raffle ticket sales, Hit-a-Thon, restaurant events, RaiseRight, Silent Auctions, and more.   

To ensure the snack bar's success, we require parents to work two shifts (minimum of 2 hours each) per child. A snack bar deposit of $80 per player is mandatory. As a volunteer-run organization, it's crucial for all parents to meet their snack bar obligations. Should you choose to opt-out, a $50.00 donation will be included in your registration fee at checkout to fund snack bar staffing. Please note that shift availability is limited due to our fixed schedule and the total number of game dates. Shift selection is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all shifts are filled, the remaining parents will need to opt-out.

There are numerous volunteer opportunities available! We welcome everyone's help – your participation would be greatly appreciated. Please stay alert for upcoming opportunities. Our organization is entirely volunteer-operated, and your support is essential.
